Gorman's Auto is the most honest and trustworthy auto service I have come across. They are diligent and thorough and I will only trust my car to them. The family feel is my favorite part, and I will continue to drive out of my way to bring my car to them.
I must give Gorman's Auto the highest regards! I have used them for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. They only suggest what is needed and do not up-sell you ever. I drive all the way from North Naples when I have an out of warranty service repair as I trust this family owned business. So please disregard negative feedback as this is truly, in my opinion, one of the few honest family run automotive repair businesses left in Southwest Florida.
Swiftly in and out was what happened today at Gorman's Auto. They always greet me with a friendly smile and are very prompt in addressing the issue. My engine light came on a few days ago so I took my car in to get it looked at to see if there was a problem. Gorman's diagnosed it immediately upon my arrival and came back to me with the results, which thankfully didn't entail any further service. I was fortunate they addressed my issue so quickly given that it is a very busy time now with it being high season. I always take my car to Gorman's Auto; in fact I have for years now. They are a family business and are very nice and reliable and I have confidence me and my car are in good hands and will be taken care properly and professionally. I highly recommend them. It is a nice overall car service experience and they will also taxi you home and pick you up if you need to leave your car for an extended time, which is wonderful and an added bonus!!!
It took multiple trips to get the same problem fixed. The technician would say it was one thing and they would charge me but still not fixed. Each trip back, they would charge me again. I spoke with a good friend and he had the same issue, with four trips back for the same issue. They also have a habit now of saying the parts were more than expected when they did the estimate. They seem to care more now about up selling you, than doing the right thing.
high pricing, and they do whatever to up sell. definitely don't use them if you don't know much about cars
