Went this place for an anniversary , expecting to pay premium price for good food and experience. The restaurant is on a first floor of the building. There is no view of the ocean. We were expecting to be on a beautiful Marco Island beach and see something beside people walking around restaurant windows. Cheapest wine is $50, many offered at $100+. For $16 glass you will get really terrible wine. Ordered catch of the day ($36). Three small pieces of overcooked dry fish fillet. No taste no flavor. Good presentation thought. On Marco in many places you can get whole snapper for less than $30 which really caught locally at the same day. Ordered Foie gras. Wrapped in a sweet jelly some sort on a piece of bread, no taste of real thing. Not recommended unless $200 for dinner of two is your goal.
Ario was great. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. Celebrated a 30th birthday here and Ario staff went over and beyond to make sure that it was a wonderful experience. They blew up our "30th" balloons and had them waiting at the table upon our arrival. They were also more than willing to take the 50 picture request we asked for from our phones. I split the 34oz Waygu Beef Tomahawk Steak with another person. We also shared the Lobster Mac & Cheese as well as the Creamed Spinach. For dessert they provided a delicious chocolate mousse cake and a strawberry shortcake on a stick with avocado ice cream. The ambiance is very nice and modern. Would highly recommend Ario if you visit Marco Island.
Awesome time post hurricane visit. The staff was so informative. Had the Cod which was amazing along with the asparagus !! We sat outside and enjoyed hearing the ocean waves. The Chardonnay was a nice addition to our Cod. We would go back.
This evening dining experience did not live up to the price tag. The taste of the lobster Mac n Cheese was good, but was not even warm. My steak was ordered Medium, but was not pink at all, definitely over cooked. The Billionaire Baked Potato was not cooked and the flavors did not go well together. We were never offered refills on our sodas. We sat outside and the “yellow” lights above us made the food look odd. In general, it was an underwhelming experience. I’m just glad we weren’t celebrating anything special.
Amazing aged meat... Great flavor... Unique side dishes... Great friendly wait staff...bread was flavorful....
